Hey, my name is Shelli and I'm the creator of Baking Bliss. I was born and raised in New York and ever since I was a kid i've always had a strong sweet tooth. I was never good at baking so trust me when I say I know how it feels to be in your position. One summer after consistent years of baking fails I finally decided to really go all in and figure out how to make treats that I didn't have to throw out.
I spent over $5,000 throughout my life buying courses, and ebooks learning from known and unknown bakers. If i seen someone bake something that looked good to me, I didn't care who you was, I was buying it and walking away with at least one new tip I could use to improve my baking. It definitely was worth it because eventually all my hard work payed off. Growing up in NY there was so many baking shops all over but none of them really satisfied my taste buds or made me say "WOW". This is what forced me to start baking myself.
The first thing I mastered was cookies and it wasn't from learning any new recipe. It was from learning how every ingredient works separately and combined with others. Baking truly is a science and one small detail can truly change the end result drastically. I started Baking Bliss because back then I used to wish someone made an affordable course that actually taught how baking works instead of just throwing recipes in my face.
I always made my books affordable because baking is already an expensive hobby and I know how it feels to make failed batches. I know how it feels to see people's reaction change when they try your baking but when they see you act like it taste great. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through so i'll always put my all into everything I teach.
